#INSTALL BOOTMII AS IOS 4.2U UPDATE#
so i thought that it had done some sort of update on the browser. If you paid for this software or a 'bundle' you have been scammed. when i went to the homebrew browser his was picking up alot more games and stuff in it than mine. however i softmoded a friends wii and after i got it all installed i was checking to make sure everything was working properly. i have homebrew and uloader up and working flawlessly on my wii. IOS250 (rev 21010): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.I have a quick question. IOS249 (rev 21010): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0 IOS223 (rev 4): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access, USB 2.0 IOS222 (rev 4): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access, USB 2.0 IOS202 (rev 4): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access, USB 2.0 IOS70 (rev 6687): Trucha Bug, NAND Access The Homebrew Channel will now be installed on your Wii.

First install the Homebrew Channel (choose Yes, continue). Now we get to the main menu, where we can install everything. IOS36 (rev 3351): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access If you see Can only be installed as an IOS, you can only get BootMii as IOS (which will give you NO brick protection on its own). I can post the last sysCheck I made before I screwed things up if you think that'll help.įound 35 IOS on this console. Any suggestions for a fix? NAND restoration is risky for me since I only have BootMii as an IOS. I described the problem the best way I can. Do you think that's what it'll do? I'm just afraid that it might wipe the things installed and still can't run any elf/dol files. Someone suggested that I should go ahead and update the console into 4.3U in the hopes that it will wipe the hacks and return it in a clean slate. I tried running HackMii through bannerbomb but it still yields the same result, a frozen black screen mocking me. I'm still able to load the HBC but I cannot run any apps anymore, it just freezes in a black screen.

As per instructions, I was supposed to reinstall HBC again and this is where the problem began. I then installed it using a WAD manager (I used YAWMM). I wanted to have the IOS58 but I preferred not to update to 4.3U so I downloaded IOS58 v.6176 through the NUS downloader. I also installed the cIOS mentioned in the softmod guide in the google sites (you know what it is). I installed the Hackmii Installer v1.2 to update my old BootMii and HBC and it works fine. Now that I'm using it again, I decided to update the necessary things. I got a modified Wii with version 4.2U and it's been years since I played with it.
